Skinboosters give deep skin hydration resulting in improved skin quality with a natural glow that lasts. The treatment involves hydrating microinjections of a soft gel-like substance called Hyaluronic Acid (HA) into the skin. Skinboosters can be used in younger and more mature skin; for skin in need of hydration or for sun-damaged skin as well as to complement other aesthetic treatments.
Skinboosters can be used on the face, neck, hands, décolletage, lips & acne scars
It is recommended that a course of 3 treatments 4 weeks apart is carried out in order to :
- Improve skin elasticity
- Decrease skin surface roughness
- Improve skin firmness and smoothness
- Improve skin hydration
“I went to see Dr Camilla to treat my hands as I felt they were looking old and wrinkly. After a course of 3 Skinbooster treatments I was completely amazed with the results!
My hands now look 10 years younger and they do not give away my age…and for that reason I will be definitely see Dr Camilla again…not to mention her pleasant manner and medical skill.”
At Skin Made Perfect we understand that some individuals would prefer to have treatments done in the comfort and privacy of their own home and if possible we will try to accommodate this. Please be aware that an additional £25 will be charged for home visits.
Dermal fillers are designed specifically to restore volume loss, which occurs through natural aging causing fine lines and wrinkles; whereas a course of Skinboosters hydrates from within to treat and improve the overall condition and quality of your skin.
As like dermal fillers, Skinboosters are based on a stabilized hyaluronic acid gel similar to your body’s own. Hyaluronic acid naturally attracts water therefore maintaining hydration within the skin. As you age, the quality of your body’s own hyaluronic acid stores diminish, therefore Skinboosters replenish these stores maintaining natural hydration levels over several months.
Initially a topical local anesthetic will be applied to the area to be treated for 20 minutes. Then a series of tiny injections will be made in the treatment area, made more comfortable with an anesthetic called lidocaine comprised within the Skinbooster range.
